At Hotel Quinta Marciala, we proudly preserve the history of a property born in the 19th century, when it belonged to Mr. Agustín Loría and his family. In those days, this place was an agricultural quinta—a space for work, rest, and community where food was harvested in abundance and travelers passing through Valladolid, Yucatán, were welcomed with open arms.
Over the years and through several generations, this ancient estate transformed into what we are today: a hotel with a soul, a rich history, and a deep sense of family. It bears the name of Doña Marciala, a beloved and significant figure within the family, serving as a tribute to her legacy and the warm spirit that always defined this home.
Today, more than a century later, we continue to care for this space with the same spirit in which it was founded: opening our doors with kindness, sharing our story, and making every guest feel at home. Within its colonial walls, its vibrant garden, and its outdoor pool lives the memory of generations and the love with which this house was built.
At Hotel Quinta Marciala, more than just providing a place to stay, we share a legacy. Every visit is an invitation to experience the true essence of Valladolid, feel the warmth of its people, and become part of a story that began over a hundred years ago—a story that remains alive with every guest.
